Manang: thess, yung canning salt is just ground salt na walang halong iodine. Mustard seed, wag mo na lagyan kasi yung friend ko dito, hindi nya type kagatin yun. Palitan mo ng sliced ginger.

Manang: thess, hindi pwede sa freezer. Kelangan lang malamig gaya ng refrigerator to keep veggies crispy and to let the moisture ooze with salt contact. Pag nafreeze sila, you can't withdraw the moisture out.

Manang: thess, salt sa top lang. As it draws moisture from the veggies , the salt will slowly melt and drip down to the lower veggies. The salty solution will still draw moisture away from the veggies down.

Manang: thess, wag mo na ihalo yung mustard seed, kasi yung friend ko, hindi nya type me mustard seed (tipong hassle alisin, ayaw nya kagatin). Yung fresh ginger root na ang substitute non. Laking QC ako.
